There is a private swimming pool on the lower terrace, a garden with space to sit out, and a roof with an open view across the valley. Inside, the rooms are finished in local stone and marble, each with its own bathroom.
It suits families and small groups who want somewhere quiet within easy reach of Udaipur — close enough for a morning at the palaces, far enough that the evenings are silent.

The house steps down the slope rather than sitting on top of it. The roof is the reason people stay longer
Most guests book two nights and wish they had booked three, and it is usually the roof that does it. There is nothing between you and the valley. Mornings are silent except for birds on the water; evenings the light goes off the hills slowly and there is no reason to go indoors.
Who it suits
Families and small groups who want quiet within easy reach of Udaipur — close enough for a morning at the palaces, far enough that the evenings are genuinely silent. Three bedrooms makes it the most manageable of our Udaipur houses for a single family or two couples.
A large party is better served by Casa Arvita or Arch Stone.
Eklingji
The temple town is the nearest settlement and worth walking into. Beyond that there is not a great deal to do, which is the appeal — this is a house for people who want to sit still somewhere beautiful and go into the city when they feel like it.
Practicalities
A cook is on site. A driver can be arranged, and the road up to the house is better taken by somebody who has driven it before. More houses on villas in Udaipur.
