Overview
Crestwood Villa is a three-storey house at Nerul in north Goa, with a private pool in the garden, a roof terrace looking out to the Arabian Sea, and the beaches and restaurants of the Candolim side a short drive away.
Crestwood is let whole — every bedroom, the pool, the living room and both terraces go to one booking. That is what makes it work for the kind of trip where people arrive on different flights and nobody wants to keep the noise down.
The house is built over three floors, with a timber-clad room cantilevered out over the pool terrace. The pool sits in the garden below, ringed with areca palms and screened from the neighbours, with loungers in the shade of the overhang.
The top terrace is the reason to book it. Wicker seating, an open rail, and the sea straight ahead over the red-tiled roofs. One of the bedrooms opens onto it through full-height glass.
The bedrooms are air-conditioned with polished stone floors, and no two are furnished the same — a teal croc-leather suite, a yellow one, a four-poster with white drapes. It suits groups of friends, families travelling together, and the kind of birthday a hotel would rather you had elsewhere.

What a stay here looks like
Mornings at the beach or the market on the Candolim side. Afternoons at the pool, because north Goa in the middle of the day is not for walking about. Evenings on the roof. Most groups eat in more often than they planned to, because there is a kitchen and the fish is better than the restaurants.
Who it suits
Groups of friends, families travelling together, and anyone who has stayed in a north Goa hotel in season and decided not to do it again. It is a house that suits a party spread across ages: the pool for children, the roof for the adults, and enough floors that the two do not collide.
